Refund & Cancellation Policy

Scope

This policy applies to payments made to Softlance for website, software, mobile app, design and digital marketing services, including fixed-price packages ordered online, milestone-based projects and monthly subscriptions. Where a signed proposal or agreement sets different terms, that agreement takes precedence.

Cancelling Before Work Starts

You can cancel an order or project before we begin work (before the kickoff call or the first deliverable is shared). We will refund the amount you paid, less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.

Cancelling After Work Has Started

Projects are billed by milestone. If you cancel after work has started, fees for completed milestones and for work in progress up to the cancellation date are not refundable. Any amount paid for milestones that have not started will be refunded.

On cancellation we hand over the work completed and paid for up to that date.

Monthly Subscriptions and Retainers

Marketing, SEO, maintenance and other monthly plans can be cancelled at any time with notice before the next billing date. The current billing period is not refunded on a pro-rata basis, and services continue until the end of that period.

Non-Refundable Items

• Domain registrations, hosting, SSL certificates, software licences, themes, plugins and other third-party purchases made for your project
• Advertising spend paid to Google, Meta or other platforms
• Payment gateway and bank charges
• Work that has been delivered and approved

How to Request a Refund

Email info@softlance.in or call +91 99913 14998 with your name, order or invoice number and the reason for the request. We review requests and reply within 3 working days.

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. Banks and card networks usually take 5–7 working days to credit the amount after we initiate it.
